Yerevan United Rotary Clubs is proud to introduce an ongoing community service project in collaboration with HUMANI Healthcare aimed at addressing the healthcare disparities in underserved areas, particularly those in proximity to the borders of Armenia. Our initiative involves the establishment of a Community Health Center equipped with telemedicine technology.
To provide easy access to healthcare services for communities that are geographically isolated or face challenges in obtaining medical care.
To utilize telemedicine technology for remote consultations, medical diagnosis, and monitoring of patients’ health.
To offer training programs for local healthcare providers and residents on how to use telemedicine tools effectively.
The establishment of the Community Health Center with telemedicine has significantly increased access to healthcare services in underserved areas near Armenian borders. Residents who previously had to travel long distances to receive medical care can now access quality healthcare in their communities.
Timely medical consultations and diagnosis through telemedicine have led to improved health outcomes. Patients can receive prompt medical advice and referrals when necessary, contributing to the early detection and management of health conditions.
The project has empowered local healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills to leverage telemedicine technology effectively. This capacity building not only benefits the current population but also ensures the sustainability of healthcare services in the long term.
The Community Health Center serves as a focal point for health education and awareness programs. It has fostered a sense of community engagement and participation in healthcare matters, encouraging healthier lifestyles and preventive care.
By reducing the need for long-distance travel and improving health outcomes, the project has had positive economic implications for the communities. Families no longer need to bear the financial burden of extensive travel for medical treatment.

Yerevan United Rotary Clubs is committed to expanding educational opportunities and vocational training for youth in Armenia and the USA. We are working on establishing scholarships and mentorship programs to support students from underserved backgrounds in pursuing higher education and vocational skills
Rotary International places a strong emphasis on peace-building efforts. We are working to organize seminars, workshops, and dialogues aimed at fostering understanding and conflict resolution in regions affected by unrest and conflict.
The club is aligning with Rotary International’s environmental sustainability goals. We are in the early planning stages for local and global projects focused on environmental conservation, reforestation, and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Youth programs are at the core of Rotary’s initiatives. We are dedicated to expanding our support for Interact and Rotaract clubs, as well as creating opportunities for young leaders to engage in community service and leadership development.
Building on our success with the Community Health Center and telemedicine, we aim to extend healthcare access to other vulnerable populations, including refugees and displaced communities.
Our future initiatives are closely aligned with the strategic priorities of Rotary International, as we work together to make a positive impact on a global scale. We will continue to seek opportunities for collaboration and support to realize these projects and contribute to a brighter, more equitable future for all.
